Dr. Chris Affeldt

Dr. Affeldt grew up in Minnesota where he received his undergraduate degree from St. John's University in 1991. He then graduated from the University of Minnesota Veterinary College in 1995 and moved to Centralia where he has lived for 14 years. He began working for what was then Macomber and Wesselius Veterinary Clinic and now is part owner of the same practice, renamed Cascade West Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Affeldt mainly sees equine and large animals, though he also sees small animals occasionally. Horse breeding/AI is his forte.

Other interests include skiing, climbing, cycling and spending time with his wife Darby, also a veterinarian, daughter Emme - 10, and son Truman - 6. The family has 2 dogs, 3 cats and they enjoy horses that board while being bred.
