Dr. Erin Ruminski

Dr. Erin Ruminski graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, and after completing an internship at an equine practice and regional surgery center in New Mexico she joined the staff at Cascade West in the summer of 2011. Before attending vet school she graduated from California State University, Long Beach and worked for The Navigators at the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Relocating to the Northwest brings Dr. Ruminski closer to friends and family; although she grew up riding and showing horses in a small town in Northern California, she was born in Portland and has family there and around the Sound.

Dr. Ruminski spends time with her two horses, Bentley, a Quarter Horse gelding, and Dansero, a retired Hanoverian mare. She takes orders from two Californian cats: Sunny and Slater. She can be found at higher elevations during the winter season moving really fast downhill across the snow.
