Dr. Roxanna “Rocky” Cornelius is initially from New York, and graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Bowdoin College in Maine in 2010. She then took a year off to travel and spent 6 months in South Africa field guiding, which cemented her love of wildlife and animals. Dr. Rocky graduated from University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine in Dublin Ireland in 2015. She followed her passion for mixed and wildlife work to Kingman, Arizona where she worked in practice with wide variety of animals, from guinea pigs all the way to lions and bears. She’s now moved to Centralia to expand her work with small animals and to increase her work with large animals, especially ruminants.

Dr. Rocky’s interests and hobbies range from a passion for the outdoors and travel to skiing, horseback riding and kickboxing. She is interested in fitness and hiking, and recently achieved a long time goal of going to all seven continents with a journey to Antarctica this past December 2018-January 2019.
